Aggressive Lures grew out of people comparing notes, helping others learn and enjoying the outdoors. The whole trip matters: what worked, what didn't, what we noticed—and what makes a good story.

Our roots / Fishing Tackle Forum
The conversations came first.
Long before this website, anglers shared tips, questions, new jig ideas and days when nothing cooperated. Our recovered records place the forum's beginnings in the early 2000s, while its precise founding year is still being established.
Those experiences inspired this new platform. Aggressive Lures is not presented as the uninterrupted or renamed forum.

We care about safe fishing, conservation, patient teaching, making things at the workbench, and sometimes just being outside. A good fishing trip doesn't require a trophy.
The published Tally forms collect submitted fishing reports for human review. Approval and publication are not automatic; approved reports may later be shared publicly. Never submit another person's image or private fishing spot without permission.
